Creating dashboards#

Create dashboards to manage metric data charts and graphs.

About this task

You create dashboards to by attaching charts to your project data that help you analyze your projects' quality and efficiency.

Dashboards are created on the Insights Dashboards page. After you create a dashboard and customize it with charts and filter conditions, you can save and use for future sessions. The Delivery Performance dashboard is provided by default. It has several charts preconfigured, including the Lead time and Cycle time charts. You can customize the Delivery Performance dashboard by adding new charts, and setting filters and data scope conditions.

To create a dashboard, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. On the HCL™ Accelerate Home page, click Insights > All Dashboards > Add new dashboard.

  2. In the NEW DASHBOARD window, in the Title field, enter a dashboard name.

  3. In the Description field, enter a distinctive description for the dashboard.

  4. Click Add.

    Dashboards are also displayed either in card view by clicking card view layout or in list view by clicking list view layout on the Insights All Dashboards page. In the list view, you can sort fields in ascending or descending order by clicking on the following field names:

    • Name
    • Description
    • Creator
    • Last Modified
    • Modified By Each card or list view item contains status information about the dashboard, and provides a link to the dashboard details. In either list or card view, you can click overflow icon and then select Remove to delete the dashboard.
